How fabulous was our Tour of the Argyle Cut and Millers Point with The Rocks Walking Tours? Our guide Vickie was so friendly, patient and knowledgeable, telling us new facts about the areas and sharing photos from the "old" days. I'm sure you were all left with an appreciation of the hard lives our forefathers must have lived, albeit in beautiful surroundings! The Rocks today is a creative hub, but also a warren of cobbled streets and quiet courtyards telling tales of our past. At the end of our tour Vickie, and Rocks Walking Tours manager, Fiorella took us to the door of our lunch venue, the Captain Cook Hotel in Kent Street. We left them with promises to see them next year for another tour of our fabulous Rocks district. There are many more stories to hear and places to see in this historic area and it never fails to make me think of my convict ancestors walking these same streets when the cobblestones were newly laid and the massive trees were just seedlings. Aren't we lucky to have access to the lives of our First Fleeters?

Great experience

I thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour today. Vickie, our guide was incredible knowledgeable, and brought the history to life. She was very thoughtful about the needs of her group and answered all questions with considerable ease. would thoroughly recommend.

Amazingly Informative

Anne went above and beyond in giving us a tour of The Rocks. She had wonderful stories, a book of photos and answered all of our many questions. She even accommodated a couple using a walker offering then alternate routes to get them to our next to if there were stairs. it was our first trip to Sydney so it have us some historical context.

Fantastic walking tour!

I highly recommend this tour. Even though I had explored the area a lot, I learned about some really out of the way places. Learning the European history perspective was really informative. Our Guide Brian was incredible! Thank you!

Such an informative tour- I Grew up in Sydney and Julie's commentary was a mix of things that I had forgotten and things that were new- she was fantastic. A Tour well worth taking
